Trailer Renovation - Before & After
I saw Rosie on a classified website for $300 and it was only 20 minutes from our house so I had to have her! It had sat in a field for who knows how long and almost everything was broken on the inside but that is exactly what I wanted! I wanted a challenge for my next project, and I thought this project would be perfect! This trailer renovation was such a fun and challenging project. All the work was so worth it! Check out these before pictures!
Once I had everything gutted, and I mean EVERYTHING! Cabinets, beds, kitchen, closets, bathroom…everything. Then I got to work! We didn’t want to have a kitchen or bathroom, we pretty much just wanted a glorified tent with storage. I built a queen bunk bed, and built in storage benches. Also, I added some shiplap, a movie screen wall, some herringbone plywood floors. I have the full tutorial of what I did saved in my Instagram Highlights under “Trailer Reno“.
The color I used for bunk bed and benches is Behr Milkweed Pod. The color of the Shiplap is Benjamin Moore Rosetta. I added white to every shiplap to create the ombre affect. Then I painted the entire exterior White. I used A-100 exterior paint from Sherwin Williams. Then I got a quart of A-100 that they color matched to Benjamin Moore Rosetta and did the same ombre affect on the outside. I spent $500 on the Reno! So total for the whole trailer was $800!
