How did my filing cabinet flower boxes hold up?

Guys, it is finally spring!! It is funny how we get excited about every transition of the seasons. Like, we can’t wait for winter and the cozy season, but after like a month or two we can’t wait for warmth and flowers! haha Who is excited to start all the outdoor activities?! I am!!

I am also excited to update you guys on the filing cabinet flower boxes I made last summer. I did not realize how well they would hold up!!

Here is right after I got the filing cabinet flower boxes done.

And here they are today!!

They held up fantastic! I have them sitting on gravel so the water has a place to go and I see no rust whatsoever! I know one day I will have to repaint them, but not this year. The rest of the space.

I am so excited to use this space more this year. We built this at the end of the summer last year and did not get too much use out of it. We have already had many s’more nights out on our patio and I am glad we get to enjoy the beauty around us.

What are your favorite things to do in the spring?! I love the fact that I get to plant new annuals in all of our flower boxes, the kids also enjoy this as well! It is just the best to see color everywhere. I hope you guys enjoy it and have the best Spring!
